  • The power of positive

This episode will work through the power of positive coaching. We will sit down and chat with Positive Coaching Alliance for a wonderful discussion on why it’s important we think about coaching in new and positive ways. The power of positive is immense and we can learn so much from organizations like Positive Coaching Alliance and the work they do, the mission they believe in, and the lessons they work hard to share.

  • The success of failure

This episode will work through the idea of learning from our failures. Kobe Bryant once said “I’ve practiced and practiced and played so many times. There’s nothing truly to be afraid of, when you think about it…I’ve failed before and I woke up the next morning, and I’m OK”. Nobody goes into something wanting to fail, but the fact about sports is that we often have a team/individual who wins and the other who doesn’t. We will take out time discussing the idea that growth can come from failure and that growth can be positive for the development process.

“If you’ve never failed, you’ve never tried anything new.”

  • Programming for Refugees

Programming for refugees around the world is often limited and funding is difficult to come by, but there are some amazing organizations across the world who are focused on providing resources, programming, and meeting the basic needs of the more than 80 million refugees and displaced persons across the globe. In this episode we will sit down with individuals from those organizations and discuss the importance of sports-based programs and what opportunities exist to provide valuable opportunities for those most in need.
